Vociferous Whimsy is all about art criticism, featuring exhibition reviews, event write ups and videos. Focusing on long form art criticism as well as shorter posts with the aim of providing readable but thorough discussion of art and art history.
Nikita Vanderbyl is an art critic based in Melbourne. Her work focuses on all areas of art criticism with the aim of making it relevant and accessible to everyone. Nikita’s criticism has also appeared in the Textile Fibre Forum magazine, Fragmented Magazine, Rabelais, and M/C Reviews.
She is currently on the Editorial Committee for Voiceworks Literary Journal, produced by Express Media, and is completing a B.A with a double major in Art History and Gender, Sexuality & Diversity Studies at La Trobe University.
